In a move to redefine healthcare delivery across Nigeria, former health-tech startup NucleusIS Africa has officially rebranded as RIGO Incorporated.
The startup unveiled a platform tAhat merges financial services with technology solutions tailored for healthcare businesses.
Speaking at the relaunch event in Lagos, Co-founder and CEO Kayode Odeyinde introduced RIGO Finance and RIGO Tech, two distinct yet interconnected arms designed to address critical challenges facing Nigeria’s healthcare sector. The event gathered stakeholders including pharmacists, doctors, HMO leaders, and regulatory bodies.
He said: “Running a healthcare business in Nigeria isn’t easy. We’re building tools to ease that burden, from paying staff and accessing credit to processing claims and managing inventory. RIGO is here to make healthcare finance and operations simpler, faster, and more accessible.”
RIGO Finance, according to Odeyinde, allows healthcare providers to access instant loans, settle payments, and manage their finances through a single platform.

Meanwhile, RIGO Tech focuses on automating healthcare operations, enabling providers and HMOs to collaborate seamlessly through digital tools that streamline claims, digitize records, and eliminate bottlenecks.
Odeyinde added: “We’ve always been inspired by the people behind the prescriptions, diagnoses, and invoices. RIGO is for them, and it’s here to stay.”
From its beginnings as NucleusIS Africa, the platform rapidly gained ground with its microfinance model tailored to health-focused enterprises. Today, it serves over 2,000 healthcare businesses, ranging from urban hospitals to rural pharmacies, providing both working capital and essential tech tools to thrive.
Board Chairman Femi Niyi also addressed attendees, highlighting the company’s evolution. “We believe that unlocking healthcare access begins by reimagining how it’s financed. RIGO has transitioned from a niche startup into a full-spectrum finance and technology enabler,” he said.
Niyi emphasized the company’s recent milestone, acquiring a microfinance bank, as a key step in building infrastructure that will drive inclusive, efficient, and sustainable healthcare delivery.
He stated: “This isn’t just a rebrand, it’s a renewed commitment. We are not only enabling access; we are redefining what’s possible for healthcare in Africa.”
With this relaunch, RIGO Incorporated is positioning itself as the go-to platform for powering healthcare businesses across the continent, bridging the gap between financial limitations and operational excellence.
