Leading telecommunications operator, Globacom, has launched two new initiatives designed to deliver greater value to subscribers: the Talkmasta tariff plan and an enhanced Welcome Bonus package.
The unveiling, held at Globacom’s headquarters in Lagos, underscores the company’s commitment to affordable, reliable, and flexible connectivity.
“With these packages, we are reinforcing our commitment to affordable and reliable services that keep Nigerians connected to the people that matter most,” the company said in a statement.
Talkmasta Plan
The Talkmasta plan allows subscribers to enjoy additional talk time and data at no extra cost. Under the plan, customers who make six minutes of local calls to any network automatically receive six additional minutes free, along with 50MB of bonus data.
Calls are charged at 30 kobo per second
SMS is billed at ₦6 per message
Both new and existing customers are eligible. New subscribers can enjoy the benefits immediately upon purchasing a Glo SIM, while existing users can activate the plan by dialing *606#. Globacom noted that there are no restrictions on how often the bonuses can be earned, allowing customers to maximize rewards based on their usage.
Enhanced Welcome Bonus
Described as the “biggest shout value in the market,” the upgraded Welcome Bonus provides first-time subscribers with rewards worth up to N2,000 upon SIM registration, an initial recharge of at least N100, and their first call.
The package includes: N1,000 airtime (equivalent to 25 minutes of calls to all networks)
N1,000 data (1GB of browsing valid for seven days)
“No other operator offers as much value for first-time users,” Globacom asserted.
By introducing these offers, Globacom aims to strengthen customer loyalty, attract new subscribers, and reaffirm its role as a pioneer in delivering affordable digital communication solutions across Nigeria.
